Hello, my name is Young.
A Brisbane based UI/UX & Product designer.
My ultimate goal is to create digital solutions that show empathy, agility and reliability whilst keeping the users’ process intuitive and fluid. I have a keen sense of what users are looking for, and I can back it up with experience in design aspects of web and software development.
Along with my handful of UI/UX skills, I am confident and proficient in using industry tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, InVision, Illustrator, Photoshop, Visual Studio and Dreamweaver.
I am a wireframe workhorse with the ability to rapidly churn out low and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes with concise usability testing throughout. I am comfortable exploring the needs of differing audiences, from children to adults, and students to librarians and teachers.
I know how to take a user-centred approach without losing sight of business goals. I work efficiently and am comfortable with the concept of Agile and Lean UX.
My knowledge and skills may suit the role:
• 20+ years of visual design experience, including 7+ years in UI/UX design.
• Ability to identify problems, inefficiencies, inconsistencies, propose solutions, and drive demonstrable improvements.
• Understanding, and capable of web dev/coding (HTML/CSS/JS)
• Rapid design thinking, attention to detail, and a 'Can-Do' attitude.
